Since January 2014, we have had a vision to create a Schoenstatt Film that would tell a universal story. A story that would invite the world to pause and say, "That is what I have been searching for all this time."

Our Mission

This film will tell a story that we all know: a story of heroism, facing challenges, making sacrifices, emerging victorious, and of great joy. As you follow 7 individuals from all over the world to the 2014 100th anniversary celebrations of an international Catholic Group (the Schoenstatt Movement), we want this film to inspire you to say, "Me too. I can do that too!" Our mission is to bring this film to the whole world so that it can be seen by hundreds of thousands, if not millions, of people. It will be translated into seven languages, and with your help, distributed to every continent.

Alex and Mark were introduced to the Schoenstatt Movement while studying at the University of Texas at Austin. There, they were slowly transformed as they learned how to tangibly incorporate the Schoenstatt spirituality into their everyday lives. They both found themselves going down the path of filmmaking with hopes to engagingly share ideals and beauty through the craft. They have worked three years in the film industry, taking on feature films, TV shows, and documentaries.

Sean Schiavolin

Executive Producer

Sean Schiavolin is an award-winning filmmaker who grew up traveling the world in an American expat family. His multidisciplinary approach to filmmaking has won accolades in commercial production, music videos, digital marketing, and feature documentary films. Sean’s passion for the art of storytelling in film stems from his conviction that the medium contains the power to move hearts and minds like no other in the postmodern era.

Phil Carlson

Composer

Currently a student at Berklee College of Music, Phil is a novice composer and guitarist with origins in the woods of Minnesota. His musical passion is strongly inspired by his years living in South America, and he brings that into his style. Known for being quiet and chill, as well as a perfectionist, he hopes to continue composing music for films.
